This privacy policy explains how StackSolution("we", "us", "our") collects and uses your personal data when you use this website. It is written to comply with the UK GDPR and the Data Protection Act 2018. This is a template — review it with a qualified adviser before relying on it.
The data controller for this site is StackSolution. You can reach us at info@stacksolution.dev for any privacy questions or to exercise your rights.
We use your contact-form data to respond to your enquiry and discuss potential work. The lawful basis is your consent and our legitimate interest in responding to business enquiries. Analytics data is processed under legitimate interest to keep the site fast and reliable.
Contact-form submissions are retained for up to 24 months after our last correspondence, then deleted, unless we enter into a project (in which case relevant records are kept for the duration of the engagement plus any legally required period).
We do not sell your data. We use a small number of processors to run this site, which may store data on our behalf: a database/hosting provider (Supabase) for storing contact submissions and a hosting/analytics provider (Vercel) for serving the site. Each processes data under its own agreement and appropriate safeguards.
Under UK GDPR you have the right to access, correct, delete, restrict, or object to the processing of your personal data, and the right to data portability. To exercise any of these, email info@stacksolution.dev. You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at ico.org.uk.
This site aims to use only essential cookies and privacy-friendly, cookieless analytics. If that changes, this policy and a cookie banner will be updated accordingly.
