FlexiDrive — Driver Dispatch Platform

A two-sided dispatch platform connecting UK logistics operators with vetted, self-employed drivers. Operators post shifts and the system cascades them to the best-matched drivers; drivers pick up flexible work, clock in with one tap, and get paid weekly by Bacs — all from a Flutter app backed by an operator web console.

Staffing driver shifts through agencies is slow and expensive, drivers want flexible work without the agency middleman, and manual matching plus hand-reconciled invoicing is error-prone and hard to keep HMRC-compliant.

I built the driver mobile app and the operator platform end to end. Shifts cascade to eligible drivers in timed 15-minute windows, ranked by rating, location, and history. The app ships offline-first maps and one-tap GPS clock-in so a dropped signal never loses a shift, and billing is integer-pence accurate with automated weekly Bacs payouts and HMRC-aware invoicing. Driver credentials — licence, Right to Work, DVLA, CPC — are verified before anyone gets matched.
